The Radio Player for Joomla is a module that plays Shoutcast and Icecast2 streams on your Joomla site. It has some interesting and necessary features like reconnect on network errors to make sure users never get silence and cache management to avoid memory huge memory consumption.
What do I need to use Radio Player for Joomla?
All you need, is a streaming signal (MP3 or OGG), and a Joomla website (version 1.7/2.5/3.0).
The audio cuts every few seconds. What's the problem?
Possible reasons are: You don't have a good and stable Internet connection, Your server doesn't have a good and stable Internet connection or The streaming signal is heavy (try reducing the kbps)
What's a fallback streaming?
Fallback Streaming Signal, is a feature that allows Radio Player for Joomla to connect to an alternative streaming URL in case the main streaming fails to load (or get's interrupted) for some reason.
What do I need for the PRO version?
The PRO version displays the current track title, so the PRO version has more requirements: If you want to display the current track title of an icecast stream, your icecast server needs a crossdomain.xml file and if you want to display the current track title of a shoutcast stream, your webserver needs fsocket enabled. How many updates I will get for the PRO version?
If you buy our PRO version, you can request up to three latest versions/updates! After three versions/updates, you have to buy the latest version again.
